It sounds like he was kind of a player and could not shake the habit. If one partner wants to party and the other does not - that spells trouble down the line unless the partier comes into line pretty quickly - preferably before the wedding!
Revenge just messes you up as well and it almost always backfires. Besides - since you gave him six years - why give him another thought now that you know he's not worth it? If you want revenge, hire a really good divroce attorney - the best you can afford - and let them suck that man dry for every penny he has. It's legal and satisfying. You MUST follow the attorney's recommendations to the letter in order to get the maximum settlement. Your man will come begging once the process begins to hit home - so you need to be sure before you unleash the attorney on him. Start shopping for the attorney quietly - ask one of your friends who has contacts in the legal world to find out who the lawyers use when they want a divorce, that usually leads to only a handful of attorneys in the city and you should hire one of them ASAP.

First of all, revenge is for the weak, and you will also probably regret it. Do you still love him? If so the best thing to do would be to talk about it. Was he cheating on you with this other women more than once? If not, it very well could have just been a mistake. Cheating on someone can be seen as having no respect for your partner. Talk to him about all these things and see what he has to say. More importatly, tell him that if he does it again, no matter what, its over.
hope this helps
p.s. if he does it again then you can get revenge....j/k....kinda

First of all...why would you want to stoop to his level just to get him back?? If this just happened then you need to take a chill pill for a couple weeks. You should do this for two reasons: 1) I know it seems like it now, but in a month or so-you might not want to get revenge on him or 2) you might regret having gotten revenge on him. You should definitely take time and think about this..but if in a month or so you still want revenge you could sleep with one of his good buddies, slash his tires...I mean, there are countless things. BUT you will never be able to hurt him like he hurt you because he obviously didn't care as much about you as you care about him. Good Luck.

We all have the anger inside us when that happens. It is that anger that you need to control to be able to get through this.
But you need to do it in a positive way. If you act upon your revenge it just may backfire on you.
There are certain types of people who seek revenge. If you are really one of them, then you know why he left you. If you dont deserve me saying that to you, then you know you dont want revenge. You are just feeling your anger and you are going to move on with your life and feel sorry for him loosing you.

I was once told that living a good life, meaning having everything you want and enjoying it, is the best revenge.
For example, my son's dad left when he was born. And now, even though I'm a single mom, I make decent money, I have a nice truck, just renovated my home, and appear to be happy and well adjusted. He can't stand it! It bothers someone to know that you can be that happy without them. And it is truly the best revenge.

Leave justice in God's hands! For the moment, show him your better than that. Be the woman he always wanted, yet don't go near him. Remember, revenge is not an option either. You must play the game cold and very smartly!

Punishment/revenge is not going to get you anywhere. Forgive him and move on. There are other people out there for you that are emotionally avaliable. You deserve better. Many people get their heart broken.

Tell him you cheated too and you might have the clap. It's not true, but it'll scare the crap out of him and he'll have to make a VERY panicked visit to the VD clinic, then be nervous as hell waiting for the results to come back.

You need to leave him. He's probably cheated on you in the past and I guarantee he will cheat on you in the future. Once a cheater always a cheater.

leave'em because obviously he doesn't care after 6 years. Revenge won't make you feel better, its still going to hurt. Find so one that won't treat you like crap, believe he ain't even worth your time.
