It'll cost you a fortune but you can get them done same day at the passport offices.

Info on urgent passport renewals can be found here.

Categorically no. they might permit you out of Portugal, yet British border administration is distinctly tight those days, and there is not any way they could permit you in and not using a passport. the ecu is extra often than not a political/commerce project, so it has not something to do with border controls. they are nevertheless separate international locations, and you elect a passport to bypass the border. P.S., what the guy above reported with reference to the ecu is a load of rubbish. you may't bypass borders and not using a passport. opposite to conventional American opinion, Europe isn't all one u . s ..

I really don't think that you will be able to go by the week-end! In Jauary of 2007 they passed some new rules about traveling with out a passport that makes it close to impossible. I know that to get a rushed passport can still take up to 3 weeks.

best of luck to you!

Not a cat in hells chance, sorry! See if you can get an appointment at one of the passport offices, but I can't see it somehow. Call here 0907 004 0065

Its not just the expired passport, its the fact that often you need to have a passport which doesn't expire for a few months after your return as well.

Good luck.

You will have to actually go to your nearest passport office with your old passport and new photos etc and queue. Look on passport web site, good luck

I should think you would have to go to the Passport Office in London and queue! But you should be able to sort it that way - I doubt if you'd get it sorted via the post in time.

go to the nearest passport office and see if they can do it in a day for you... it takes something like 6 hours though and you have to stay at the office!

edit, sorry its late!.. i havnt done it myself but i know people who have, i have heard roumers that they dont do it anymore BUT im not sure if its true. failing that, call ur embassy and see what advice they can give you. good luck!

why don't you borrow your sisters passport for a couple of weeks. you can bring her something nice when you come back from Italy.
