Certainly it is not impossible.
It simply is not true.

Most holy scripture makes reconciling evolution and God's plan for creation a very difficult thing to do. For instance, the bible claims that God created vegetation before the sun and the stars. This cannot have happened if you are trying to reconcile in story in the bible, with what we know about plants and the age of the earth vs the sun.
You need to perform doctrinal gymnastics to reconcile the two together, not impossible, but for me, if you are willing to overlook parts of the bible, why would you rely on any of it?
If the story in Genesis is a metaphor, then why not the story of Jesus?

Only some Christians think god was too stupid to use evolution as his tool and even they accept medical treatment based on the genetics of evolution!!!!
Many true believers also believe in evolution. The Pope actually recognized evolution this year.
What these pseudo Christians are actually doing is building the chopping block for the beheading of Christianity by decrying evolution and science. What will happen as more and more proof of science and evolution come out in the next few years?
Surely if they stick rigidly to the requirement for creation and evolution and science becomes more provable that will indicate that Christianity as they see it is completely wrong!!!!!
I suspect that the fundamentalists and religious extremists here are actually not Christians but slaves of the anti Christ!!!!!

Because in the Hebrew language, when led by an ordinal, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, the word "day" means a literal 24-hour day -- no ifs ands or buts. Besides, God stopped creating life, while Evolution is an ongoing process. In the Bible, there is a Hope that is to be looked forward to, while in Evolution there is only hopelessness.

What you are taling about is
Theistic Evolution
A variation on the theme of evolution is theistic evolution. It states that God initiated life on earth and allowed evolutionary principles to bring man to where he is--maybe with a little help from God here and there. At least this theory includes God. But this theory was developed in part by Bible believing people who thought that evolution had some merit. In addition, it is an attempt to answer the many problems existing not only in the fossil record but also with how life could somehow randomly form out of nothing. Because of problems like this, some believe they can be explained by simply adding God to the picture: God directed evolution.
For those who hold to the Bible as the word of God, theistic evolution should not be a viable option. The Bible says, "Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us..." (Psalm 100:3). The Scriptures state that God created. God said, "Let there be..." and there was. The Scriptures speak of the creative word of God. When God speaks; it occurs. He said "Let there be" and it was so. It does not say, "Let there be a slow development through an evolutionary process."
God said in Genesis 1:26, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." The Hebrew word for "make" in this verse and in verse 25 where God makes the beasts, is "asah." It means to do, work, make, produce. This is not simply the limited Hebrew understanding of evolutionary principles.
The land animals were made differently than man. The animals were made from the ground but man was made directly by God: "the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being" (Gen. 2:7). Evolution states that man evolved from life forms that developed in the ocean. Here, God made man from the dust of the ground--not the water of the ocean.
If evolution is true and the Bible is true then how is the formation of Eve explained? She was created out of one of Adam's ribs (Gen. 2:22). There is no way to explain this if theistic evolution is true; that is, unless you want to say that Eve wasn't made from Adam's side. Then, if you do that, you are doubting the very word of God.
Also, Jesus said in Mark 10:6 "But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.'" The beginning was not evolutionary slime; in the beginning of creation there was Adam and Eve.
Though this information is brief and far from complete, it should be obvious that theistic evolution and the Scriptures cannot be harmonized.

I dont understand on the subject of the entire: "...writer could plant the spark of existence in a microscopic speck and by using doing so create guy and all different existence." yet I do have self assurance in God as a results of fact the writer of the universe, and that i even have self assurance that evolution maximum incredibly is attainable. To what quantity, im not sure. yet to assert that men developed from monkeys, I thoroughly disagree. yet there must be some sort of Evolution, that coincides with Creationism. Refusing this actuality is in simple terms undeniable lack of know-how on christians section.

Nowhere in the Bible does it state that creation should be taken symbolically either, and if you accept evolution the whole creation story is full of lies, and God is not a liar.

First, Jesus DID treat the Genesis account of creation as literal. He talked about it as though it happened, and even though Jesus used many parables to get his points across, he NEVER, not even ONCE, treated the Genesis account of creation as though it were a parable, so that's the first point in which you are wrong when you said "Nowhere in the Bible does it state that it is to be taken literally".
Second, if you look at the Genesis account of creation, you see an amazing thing - it is self-descriptive. Within the very text, itself, are terms that are used with their very definitions included.
I'm referring to the Hebrew word for "day" ("yom"). Throughout the Scriptures, this word is used and is commonly and obviously understood to mean a 24-hour period of darkness followed by a period of day light, even though it is never defined anywhere else in the Bible.
And yet here, in Genesis, it describes "yom" ("day") as "And the evening and the morning were the first day." and furthermore, "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night."
So, if you say that Genesis is only some kind of parable, and that each "day" actually represents - oh - say 10,000 years, perhaps, what you're really saying is that there was a period of 5,000 years of darkness (at any one geographical spot on the earth, of course), followed by 5,000 years of daylight (in that same geographical area).
Now, using your own science, how is 5,000 of darnkess (night time) followed by 5,000 years of day light conducive to evolution?
Furthermore, do the math, and determine the speed of the earth rotating on it's own axis to produce a 10,000 year "day" (evening and morning). Now, how much energy would be required to speed up the earth so that it's rotating fast enough to produce a 24-hour day?
Next, look at the creation of man. That is very specific, as well, not given to re-interpretation.
And the garden, and the forbidden fruit, if they were all parable in nature, then there was no specific "fall" into sin, no sin means no need of a Savior, so the entire life of Jesus, especially his death on the cross to save us from our sins, would not have been required, if we don't have an adamic fallen nature as the Bible says.
Finally, the Bible says that the wages of sin is death. In Romans, it points out that death is the result of sin. But if there was no Adam and Eve to sin by eating the forbidden fruit, then death was NOT the results of sin.
Furthermore, for evolution to work, there must of a necessity be many MANY THOUSANDS of deaths, as things mutate and change and die off, and this, too, violates the direct teaching of the Scriptures.
Christians believe that evolution is impossible because it IS impossible. Study the living cell, the nucleus, the mitochondria, protein synthesis, that double-strand of highly complex molecules that make up a highly advanced Data and Information Storage and Retrieval system that makes even the Cray Supercomputer look like child's play, all coiled up in a tiny little double-helix.
Even Dr. Flue, while working on studying DNA had to finally renounce his stand as an evolutionist. Even though he received a lot of criticism from his colleagues, yet in an article, he stated that it would be intellectual suicide to continue believing in evolution, with all the facts available!
No, evolution is just simply impossible, and even one of the most intelligent brains on earth, who has delved into the secrets of life as found in DNA, had to renounce belief in evolution as "intellectual suicide".

You are wrong about your claims. The Bible is to be taken literally, and creation took 6 days, although I'm sure it could have been instantaneous if God so desired.

i think that for many Christians the belief in evolution would potentially lead to the questioning of God. if you are raised to believe in something you're likely to fight and argue for that belief.
i think that for many Christians it's difficult to believe in evolution because it is not strictly in the Bible. likewise, it is difficult for many atheists to believe in God. if you are not raised or taught about a God, how can you begin to fathom that there is a higher or Divine being?
now personally, as a Christian, i do believe in evolution. like kja63 said, God creates miracles for us everyday in different ways.
to say that evolution is impossible doesn't rest easy with me. strands of viruses and microorganisms that are constantly changing to adapt to the environment to better survive are perfect examples of evolution...so to say that there is no scientific proof is being said by people that have no scientific background. does that evolution necessarily occur the way that we read about in school? probably not.

Well, the idea is that if you can show that part of the bible isn't literal, then why is any part literal. If the part about creation is a metaphor, why can't all of Jesus be a metaphor. Why can't God be a metaphor. It is a complacent ignorance to protect their belief.
