Atheism is not a religion. It's a belief that there is no sufficient evidence to prove the existance of God(s).

That's the only thing atheists share in common.

An Atheist is someone who absolutely does not believe in the existance of a higher power, god or gods. They rely on science and hard facts in order to develop their beliefs about the world around them. Many religious folk consider atheists to be very closed to anything, but I dont think so - I think they are an important juxtaposition in the great religious debate.

An Agnostic is someone who is open to the IDEA of a higher power, god or gods but who also places heavy emphasis on science or FACT! Some say they are just "edging their bets" but I like to think that being an agnostic means you are willing to learn from other faiths even if you dont believe in their core belief system.

An atheist is someone who does not believe in any gods. Atheism is not a religion, and the only thing that all atheists have in common is that they do not believe in god, any god.

Atheism is not an actual religion. It means that they don't believe in any higher power.
Agnostic, however, doesnt believe in God, or any of the Pagan gods, but believe that SOMEWHERE, there IS a higher power.
Damn atheists. This is EXACTLY the reason that there is so much chaos in the world. They don't think that they NEED to follow any specific guidelines. Jeez, society has slumped.
