Jesus was a Jew. His mother was a Jew. All the apostles were Jews. His followers broke away from Judaism because they couldn't convince other Jews that Jesus was the messiah and had to convert gentiles. It was impossible to convert Romans to a religion requiring circumcision and adherance to dietary restrictions so Paul had a vision and declared circumcision and all other laws to be unnecessary.

Jesus was crucified because he claimed to be king of the Jews. Romans appointed their own people to be king and high priest. They had no tolerance for anyone claiming the throne.

Thousands of rotting Jewish bodies hanging from crosses lined the streets of Jerusalem. All of them had threatened the Roman rulers' power.

Yes. Jesus was very much Jewish, even fulfilling the Jewish prophecies of the Jewish Messiah, thus making Jesus the Jewish Messiah sent from God.

The Scriptures indicate that when he was being crucified, the words "King of the Jews" were inscribed on a plaque in three different languages.

This plaque was the standard way of showing passer-bys what the crime was and why the person was being crucified. Usually it said "Insurrectionist" or "muderer", et cetera, so when the plaque said "King of the Jews", it was to let people know that he was being crucified because he was the King of the Jews.

The Jewish leaders wanted the Romans to change the wording to say "He claimed he was the king of the Jews", the they would not change the sign.

The Jews are Jesus' chosen people, therefore he is deemed The "King of the Jews." Jesus himself has to be Jewish, since the Jewish religion does not recognize Jesus as the Savior, how could Jesus worship himself if he was not a Jew?

When Jesus was brought to trial, so the story goes, the Roman Governor of Judea, Pilate, mockingly asked Jesus if he was the King of the Jews, and the title stuck.

All the evidence points toward Jesus being Jewish, and his status as 'the Son of God' gives no reason for him not to be regarded as Jewish during his time on earth, so what's the point of questioning his Jewishness?

Yes he was Jewish
To answer the first question, when he was crucified, the Romans added a "sign" to the cross that said "the king of the Jews". Most likely it was either sarcastic or intended to push the buttons of the Jewish leaders (who were ruled over by the Romans and the two groups didn't exactly get along. . .)

Jesus was called the King of the Jews because he was dexcended from the family of David. And yes, he was Jewish. Jesus' teachings were meant to be a reform and simplification of orthodox Judaism.

Yes, he was Jewish. Why are you so surprised?
Christianity is the religion of those who believe Jesus was the Messiah. The Jews didn't believe that.
But he was born a Jew, Christians didn't exist before Jesus (obviously).

When Jesus Christ was Born after 8 days, he was brought to the temple, and then he was circumcised, after that, mother Mary and Joseph named him "Jesus", w/c means "Yahweh Saves", after that, his parents performed some kind of ritual that is known as "The Redemption of the First Born". Now, these 3 rituals are performed inside a temple, and these rituals are only for Jews, w/c would infer that Jesus was Jewish. After that, when he was presented inside the temple, Simeon and Anna recognized him as the "Savior or the Messiah", and then Simeon, gave a prophecy to mary, his first prophecy was about her, and he said to her, "A sword will pierce your soul", and it means that she will experience a horrible pain because of her son's Death, the second Prophecy was about Jesus, and what he said to Mary was, "He will be the cause of the Rise and fall, of the people of Israel".

Uh, yeah!!! He was born a Jew and lived and died a Jew!! The name "King of the Jews" was, I believe, a name given him by the Roman soldiers in a derogatory mocking way. It always surprises me how many people don't know that Jesus was a Jew!?!
