Not quite true.
First of all, Lucifer is NOT Satan. It was in reference to the Babylonian dynasty. I'll get you the reference in a bit.
EDIT: There is only one reference to Lucifer in the Bible.
For example, the King James Version renders Isaiah 14:12: “How art thou fallen from heaven, OÂ Lucifer, son of the morning!”
The Hebrew word translated “Lucifer” means “shining one.”
Isaiah 14 :4 says that this is a pronouncement gainst "the king of Babylon". Verses 15 and 16 show that this is in reference to a human. Clearly, “Lucifer” refers to a human, not to a spirit creature.
Revelation 12:3, 4 mentions the Devil dragging down "a third of the stars". Angels are sometimes called "stars" as at Job 38:7.
That huge war happened long after the angels rebelled. We know this from the fact that there is mention of the demons in Genesis, but the mention of the great war in heaven (Rev 12:9-12) was yet FUTURE at the time John was writing it, and he wrote that around 96 C.E.
There is good reason to believe that this war occured in 1914. For more info about that, you can email me.

Remember before the flood when some angels looked upon women of earth for sex? They wanted their own desires above God. After the flood, this ability was cut off from angels. Just imagine how they feel now. Cast down to earth with human women degrading themselves so near and yet so far. Kind of understand why demons get so mean, don't you?

Many angels... Lucifer is a very crafty and charismatic fellow, his spiritual wisdom is tremendous, as he was once one of Heaven's highest angels... however, pride is a temptation to all hearts, and through his deceitful quest for vainglory, he brought down nearly a third of the entire heavenly host (that accounts for millions of spiritual beings) and was cast out of the angelic realms...

Lucifer was never an Angel...he was a Cherub, not the same thing.
Eze..28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

It was 1/3 of heavens angels. The bible did say that he was a liar from the very beginning. He most likely lied to them. and they believed him.

He told them they could stop worshipping God all day long. They thought it was a good idea at the time. I don't know how many there were....I don't recall reading about a war...but I think that there was a yelling match.

According to the myths contained in the bible, Lucifer was very persuasive. He was supposed to have been the most beautiful of the angels.
In fact, according to the bible - he was originally supposed to be the savior of mankind - but he was prideful, and wanted all of the glory for himself. He also wanted to force people to worship God (not unlike a lot of fundies ironically enough).

A LOT!!!
Yes, there was. Michael and his angels fought with the devil and his angels, or demons. Check Revelation, although I don't know which chapter.
