Usually mixed signals are often interpreted incorrectly. For the most part, there rarely are mixed signals. Either they change because they are afraid to admit to their friends, etc.
Anyway, I think you should just treat it as if he did not like you, just incase. You do not want to make it worse if he really doesn't like you, but you think he does.

Start a conversation with him and see where it goes.If you're still getting mixed signals, then simply ask. It couldn't hurt, but if you're shy try to get a friend to do it.

Tell him to knock it off and to please make up his mind what he wants because you do not appreciate the mixed signals.
Do not ever assume or guess what or why someone is doing or not doing something - just ASK.
