I wanna move to california. but?

Im from Canada Ontario. Theres nothing out here for me. i like advutre, independed gurl. my carreer isnt here for me. i would like to move to california., but im not quit sure how long it would take be to be able to cross over. and live in the us, can anyone help me out pls. and thank you.

ok. just to add. im done school.( college). no future for me in ottawa, ontario.

you need to down to earth, california is an expensive place, you need at least saving for at least 6 months to look for career. don't try to be wild, be good and study hard in school.
