I'm not minddoctor, but you can safely run both if you want to, or you can uninstall Adobe first.

Yes you can install Foxit Reader before removing Adobe. There is no conflict.

Yes it's okay, you can have Adobe Reader and FoxIt Reader installed at the same time.

you dont need to delete/remove Adobe reader

just install foxit reader and open it, it will ask whether you wnat to make it default reader ..click yes/ok

when you dont want to use foxit , open acrobat reader and make it default else right click PDF file and open it in Acrobat
