I work for TSA and I can tell you that it is! The only issues that you are facing are breakage and lost luggage.

Well you might not want to pack a bottle soda since it might explode during the flight and ruin the items in your suitcase. They don't allow any drinks in your carry on bags except baby food jar size.

My first thought is that the containers will explode in flight. Liquid in the container will expand at altitude and burst the container. In addition to FAA regulations each airline may have additional restrictions to the rules. It is best that you call your airline and ask any questions you have before packing.

Don't do it. The pressure is incredible up in the air.

Better option would be to ship them, that way if it's packed properly it will be (possibly shaken up) but safer...

Think there might be rules against having such items anyway, best thing would be to call your airline to ask if you can.

You cant have anything bottled when going throught the security check. After the fact thought you can buy water at one of the places selling water in the airport.
