You must look carefully:::After the tin can is placed back on the cusion if you really look carefully just before he puts the lid on it...If you look at the top rim of the can..after he lets it go to put on the lid..YOU wil NOTICE that that there is a slight disturbance in the image around the rim of the can...So what is done is The camera is" paused".. the crumbled paper or what ever it is ...is put into the can (which you obviously dont see because the camera is on "pause")..then its turned "on record"...so...YOU think its all in the same "recording"...GET IT!!...

Just pause your camcorder and insert the crumbled piece of paper. You can tell the video is stopped, the frame jumps. viola!
