How many of you still keep in touch with your former flame? The ex and I split amicably and decide to remain civil – I only keep in touch by email or phone just a few months to see how he’s been doing… But last week, I received an email that he’s been seeing another girl he met on a Christian dating site considering he’s an agnostic (that’s one of the reasons we broke up because of our spiritual differences.. This is how I met him as well in an online dating service…) I want him to be happy but at the same time, I couldn’t helped feeling a bit jealous and he was bragging about the new girl as well. I feel like he was throwing it on my face considering he’s doing pretty well in his personal life but I’m still doing fairly OK well – I still am looking after a family member who’s trying to recover from cancer.
I realized life is too short – I cant be bothered by playing mind games with people. I’ve blocked him from my life and I want to live an honorable life.

Most of them I do not wish to contact anymore. I've had very bad experiences with dating. I have one that I do stay in touch with that married a year ago. Some of the ones I don't like try to stay in touch with me. The only reason I talk back is to be polite, but I never let any of their BS get to me. I don't play games and am not interested in their future life. I just wish them the best and never act like a jerk. It's better to just be above that mess.

Your doing right by blocking him. I have an ex who just does not get it we are not getting back together. I tried being friends with her but she text me things like im thinking about you and what not at like midnight on a Saturday when Im out with someone im interested in. So its best just to let them go because it makes it easier in the long run.

It is time for you to move on. Slowly you back off from checking on him so often and then just wait till you run into on another to see how he is.
