I believe in reincarnation of the continuous type, since this allows no escape from the reality of this universe, and is like a natural cycle, death and rebirth, sleep and waking, night and day, winter and summer. It makes people have to learn to be effective in the struggle of this world and its problems, since they will face similar conditions in future lives. It also helps even out unfairness due to natural disasters etc, that can shorten or mess up one life. We could have so much of a better world if people would just focus more on working at making it better, realyzing that that skill will serve them well in future lives.

Yes I do , because of the following reason: "What you sow,you shall reap." Life after death is the realm of justice and fairness. Because no matter who you are rich or poor, white or black, American or African, a president or a vagabond, death is always the ineluctable end. Death makes you equal to everyone else and even if one thinks that his memory will survive by what he achieved, he's off course because he will be subject to oblivion and life will go on without him. Death is the transitory moment towards your judgment, and the reward or the punishment depends on every single deed. All the dictators and despots of the world can't flee with their gruesome deeds, all the lost lives of the oppressed people, all the lost innocent lives wasted can't be gone for nothing. Take the example of the tragedy of nine eleven.Do you think that those people are not going to be asked or punished for the lives they killed? Noway.

No. After death there is only death. That's why it's called after death.

Yes. In near death experiences the accounts are very similar. The Bible has allot to say about it. I was visited in my dreams by my deceased husband a number of times. Paranormal science is gathering from research evidence of it.

John 5:28-29......Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

No. That'd be ridiculous. We have a very good understanding of what makes someone alive, and those things do not continue to function when you're dead.

Except in cases when people die for only a few seconds or so and are then revived. But I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Yes.
We are created to live eternally. Our physical bodies will cease to function but our soul and spirit will continue for all eternity. We need to make sure that our eternity will be in the presence of God and not within the lake of fire.

Hope that helps.

Most assuredly so.

For those who put their faith in the Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ, we will have eternal life in heaven.
