I always eat whole wheat multi-grain bread slices. But what brand should I buy? The kind at the common grocery store.

My husband and I buy the Meijer store brand whole wheat bread. It's the type with the wide slices. It's free of corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, and everything else that is fake. I also prefer the Schewebel's light whole wheat bread, but he doesn't care for it. (Schewebel's is an Ohio bakery.) I'm cool with that since he's not as picky as what I am with food, although I've helped him quite a bit.

We've had Ezekiel and we liked it, except that it has seeds in it. I don't mind that, but my husband did. Also, I have a too-large gap between my teeth and the seeds would get caught in it. Not comfortable.

Just look for a brand that is free of the junk. My father-in-law mentioned that he buys whole wheat bread from the Wonder Hostess outlet for less than a dollar a bag. My husband told him that we don't buy it because corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup is one of the first five ingredients. I was just impressed that he even bought whole wheat. I digress.
