Tasmania. But if you move expecting to reproduce what you have left, don't bother. You will be unhappy.

The closest would be Macquarie Island, one of our Antarctic stations. That's at about 54°S while Buckingham is about 52°N. Our most southerly city is Hobart which is the same latitude south as Rome is north. The rest of Australia is closer to the equator than that.

Australia and the UK are entirely different in terms of scenery, climate, flora and fauna. The people are not that different, many of them are originally British or descended from British people. English is the first language for most Australians.

Stay where you are if you want what you are sitting in now - you wont find it in Australia.

Why would someone want to leave somewhere - & want to go somewhere just the same? You wont have London on your doorstep as you do now.

You will end up like many who come out to Oz - & want everything to be as it was back home - only to be disappointed & shoot through back home.

There is a little town in WA, named Buckingham (there is no palace there!)........an ex timber town with 20-30 people in the area. Located in the timber forest, & near the Collie coalfields - how does that grab you???????

I don't get it. If you want to live in exactly the same kind of place, why on earth are you moving? Stay where you are if it means that much to you. You do realise that Australia is a climate of extremes and it's highly unlikely you'll find anything approaching that here. You might try Woop-Woop. Good luck with that.

Hi I wouldn't go much further south than Bowral or the Moss Vale area you might even be lucky to see snow on the odd occasion through winter also.

Nowhere, it's Australia, not England.
I'm from England, and Australia's not England.
