Okay, so I broke my pelvis about 4 weeks ago in an accident,
and at first i didn't know (maybe because of the painkillers) but
now I have both chronic and acute pain in my foot (only left foot)
It's the typical burning feeling, pins and needles pain, acute pain
occurs when i change position(i.e get up, sit up, etc etc)
despite my left leg being colder than my right leg by a noticeable amount, 2 doctors i've visited ruled it out as pinched nerve as there are nerves running to the foot where my pelvis fracture is.

The question now is, how should i treat this? ice my back by pelvis area? or my foot area? i heard some people say use warm water?

thanks a lot in advance

o sorry, i meant as in like uhh they ruled out poor blood circulation and told me it was pinched nerve, it was a car accident side impact, i haven't asked specifically about spine damage but my back doesn't hurt at all, and i believe i had a checkup done on that as well. the accident was so bad (i was nearly unconcious) i was checked for pretty much everything, xray everywhere, internal bleeding, i was in that tube machine for a long time, neck, brain damage .. etc etc etc

Umm interesting. Reason why this is interesting you broke your pelvis? An accident? You do not state what type of accident. However they have ruled out pinched nerve? I am wondering if you might have damaged a disc in your spine in this accident? Now that can cause the foot pain! You need to ask for a Nerve Conduct Test, that is the only test that will rule out Nerve Damage, or perhaps rule it in! Good Luck

Acupuncture, which involves inserting thin needles into various points on your body, may reduce peripheral neuropathy symptoms.
