My present horse hasn't ...yet. But I have hit the ground many times and I'm beginning to think I may have suffered an undiagnosed brain injury the first time because I just keep getting back on. LOL
Usually, when a horse bucks or acts out , there is a problem. it could be tack, unexpected event such as dogs appearing out of nowhere.or just some thing you did . don't be discouraged , as you get more experience , the better you will be able to deal with the problems.
May the Horse be with You

Yes. And the best thing you can do is get right back on. It is good for your confidence plus does not send a message to the horse "you won". If you don't right back on and the horse did it intentionally, the horse may think he won and will be more likely to do it again. When you get right back on, it tells the horse that you are still in charge.

Yes and I got right back on and went for about a 5 mile gallop to tire him out. He was a retired race horse so he had the stamina.
I was the only person he would try to buck off, so I would make sure he was tired when the ride was over.
