I would choose the first guy. Intelligence and hard working is what women want. Women, normally don't like handsome guys or they will cry because they have to keep track with their bfs every hrs (afraid of some chicks take him away...). Men like rooster especially hot guys. Interlligence and hard working can help couples to have stable life, so that we dont have to worry of starving. Quiet and shy sometimes is not good because this kind of person normally is viewed as "hypocrite", however, its better than living with the one who is lazy and loud.

... the average looks and the hot looks.... that's about the same anyway... on both a man or a woman. Intelligence is important.. cause you dont want a guy that is too stupid to understand you. Anyone that works has something to do... laid back, lazy and loud seems horrible.

if you are young go for guy two. face it you have your whole life to be boring, live a little. experiace in boring guys tells that they cling and are more likely to stalk you when you break up- i know. they get creepy so number two
