If not, why not? Is it because deep down you know that prayer doesn't work?

If yes, please post results of your test of faith.

Thanks.

Mat. 17:20
For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

Mat. 21:21
I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

See, Jesus says that God will grant your prayers. Your not going to argue with Jesus, are you?

Mat 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Luk 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Once again, we find someone who doesn’t understand what he reads. God CAN do anything He wills, but for a purpose.

Why would you want someone to chop off their legs? What purpose would that serve? I suspect the only reason you ask is because you want a reason to judge God’s handiwork and decide if you’re going to believe in Him or not. If you REALLY want to know how God would deal with something like that, why not try chopping you own legs off? Hey, if it works for me, it ought to work for you too, right?

Sorry to say, God doesn’t work that way. And while we’re at it, what gives us the “right,” if that’s the proper word, to judge God? Before you get yourself in any deeper, and yes the BS will get VERY deep here real fast, go read the latter part of the Book of Job, say starting at chapter 38.

Mat 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

By the way, prayer works just fine. I am the recipient of several miracles because of prayer.

Matthew 4:5-7
satan told Jesus to throw himself off the pinnacle of a Jewish temple. Satan said the angels would hold Jesus and prevent him from getting hurt.

Jesus said " It is written again, Thou shat not tempt the Lord thy God."

Don't do bad things to test God.

I only would if God truley told me to. I wouldnt do it on my own because i am not going to "test" God . That would be stupid.
Plus, although God CAN heal it doesnt mean he will. He doesnt have to do things just becasue i ask him. He is God not me.
Prayer does work. But i am also aware the answer isnt always yes. its sometimes "wait" or no.

ps: if your so sure, then you do it. lol

That was the Messiah's third temptation. He replied, it is written:"thou shall not tempt YHVH your Elohim". Sounds like a good answer to me!
