That didn't work. The A/C works fine, what would the problem be? Is it just the heating coil and what should that run to be replaced?
Tks!

Sounds like it could be the heater core. Either get your system flushed out or replace the heater core depending on if its clogged (or just make sure you have enough antifreeze in your system). Figure about $50 for the heater core and then about 6 hours labor. Kinda hard to judge how much it would cost. Would be best for you to call some shops and ask for an estimate. That would get you your best ballpark figure.

Disconnect the heater core under the hood. You will have to split the rubber hoses with a knife where they go onto the core. Otherwise you might twist the inlet and outlet core tubes out of the core! Then take a garden hose and flush the core out. You should flush the cooling system every two years and fill with 50-50 antifreez and water to keep the rust settlement down to a minimum.

it may just be stopped up or it could be air in the system, you may have to bleed the air out of the cooling system to get it to work right,if there's any air trapped in the system it causes an air bubble to form and wont let the coolant flow through the heater core, and that wont give you no heat, try bleeding it first and make sure its completely full, good luck.
