Use a shiny lure better known as a tin. Hopkins, Kastmaster, Crocodile are a few among the many. Predators see the shine and attack thinking it's baitfish. Try a 2-ounce lure, about six dollars, if you are going for small fish use a smaller lure. A big fish, for example a 40-pound striped bass, will hit a 2 oz. lure. All predators are attracted to and attack shiny objects.

If I had to choose a "general" hard-plastic lure for mandatory fishing in overseas waters (not US) I think I would choose various types/weights of Bill Lewis, Rattle Traps.

Rattle Traps are excellent "searching" baits and are made for abuse.

6-8 "floating" and "sinking" Rattle Traps in 1/4-1/2 OZ weight will work equally well for saltwater-freshwater applications.

For soft-plastics- A Jig with a Berkley Curly-Tailed Grub is hard to beat for ANY type of fishing ANYWHERE!

Hope this helps you? Good luck!

There's lots of lures to choose from for fishing abroad and it is hard to find the correct lure especially if you don't know about the country you are fishing. I have two suggestions going on past experience when it comes to traveling and fishing and they are hire a fishing guide when you get there or book before you go, even if you use them for only one day your catch rate will increase for sure an the other can tell you what to fish with as for lures take some floating and deep diving plugs, like that made by rapala fish them on a light spinning outfit, there s achoice of lures available here

i could could say the YUM! Buzz Frog. This entice is massive for engaged on suitable of disheveled weeds. Ive caughtn many fish over 18''. particularly youll get bass however the occansional pike will additionally chew at it. My favriote colour may be the eco-friendly Pumpkin/ Chartruese colour. seems precisely like a real frog. To rig the frog is authentic ordinary, in basic terms tye on a three/0 Weedless hook and slide the frog each and each of ways untill the hook factor pooks out close to the top of the frog. Now watchout as a results of fact once you get a chew, the bites are explosive. yet while they take the entice dont tug suitable away. Reel interior the slack and once you sense the load of the fish the set the hook. good luck Fishing
