The dream took place in downtown Detroit, Michigan after a hockey game. I was walking along Detroit’s riverfront in the middle of the night when all of a sudden, I see the Renaissance Centre on fire. For some reason, I am happy to see the complex in flames. I then look up and see Brandon, in a Michigan State hockey jersey (I really don’t like Michigan State), stranded on one of the top floors of the 72-story building. He then jumps out of his hotel window to his death. I feel relieved knowing that Brandon is dead.

Content, I walk towards the bus station. A bunch of homies drive past and ask me if I want to hop in their ride. I get in their car, blaze some buddah, listen to rap music with the homies, and turn my cap sideways. We get into a discussion about how rapper Royce 5’9 should have been in the spotlight instead of 50 Cent. The guy sitting next to me in the back seat then introduces me to some underground rappers that I have never heard of. He seems really cool and I start to take interest in rap music again. The car stops in front of a liquor store on 7 Mile, and that is where my dream abruptly ends.

Some questions I have about this dream:
· Why does this dream take place in Detroit when neither I nor Brandon live there?
· Why am I happy to see the Renaissance Centre up in flames?
· What is the significance of Brandon wearing the jersey of a team I don’t like?
· Why did I turn away as soon as Brandon hit the ground, but felt relieved knowing that he died? If you read my last question, you will see that I like Brandon very much and find him very attractive.
· Does the part about the homies picking me up have anything to do with the first part of the dream?
· Why did the dream come to such a sudden stop? That seemed like a really lame ending to me.

The spiritual energy you pick up the day before or earlier, of the time of the dreams feeds the emotional flavor of the dream. I guess you like competitive team sports. and get into supporting the home team. For some reason you went into enemy territory, so to speak, Detroit, and went ot a hockey game there. I don't know why you decided to go to a hostile area. And why Brandon would betray you by wearing the Michigan State jersey, but it appears that you don't take betrayal lightly, hense no negative response when he jumps and kills himself. The fire at the Renaissance center was just another indication of how you feel about unfriendly rivals, in that foreign place Detroit. So the dream has a lot to do with loyalty to those close to you, and not betraying it. And that you don't has the friendliest feelings torwards rivals. Hopefully the anxiety about Brandon's loyalty is just a passing thing, but you will have to have him reassure you of it. Also be careful about the loyalty of others arround you, dreams sometimes have a more general meaning. The othe dream seems to be more of a reassuring dream of being with your home group again. But, it is not as reassuring as you would have liked, since it ended to soon without a clear ending. Meditation, exercise, healthy eating, not overindulging, and try to behave in an honorable fashion, will help you stay strong spiritually, so as to handle the intensity of the issues you seem to have in your life. You certainly are into analyzing things.

You were having a good time right? That's all that matters, some dreams are just plain weird and don't deserve that much attention, you just got a little creative, haha.
