Im leaving for bt on jan 15th and i need to know what is the cutest way i can cut my hair without going against regulations lol

Whatever the regulation says, if you have bangs, you're protective mask won't seal, and you'll be huffing tear gas the entire time you're in the chamber, which cam be upwards of 30 minutes, depending.

Not really too much of an expert on this topic as I am a Marine, but I can say that you should get your hair cut to where it can be easily cleaned, that is one of the biggest things all the females here at this base tell me they did, and you really shouldnt worry about cute too much, boot camp has absolutely nothing to do with cute, and A School is awesome by the way, I get paid to learn 6 hours a day. What is your job? If by some strange chance you come to Pensacola you might see me lol

My daughter is a Navy Chief now and she has bangs but wears her long hair up in a french braid so as not to have it on her collar, but when she was in BT she had a very short hair cut that only took a couple of minutes to maintain..

I wouldn't worry too much about being cute. Go for the short hairstyle that will take the fastest shower time and the least maintenance. Styling will be the least of your worries when you get there.

you're probably not going to like this, but very few chicks can keep themselves cute in basic... and i don't think it matters how much in military standards your hair is when you get there, cuz they're going to butcher it anyway... just cut it how you want, and pray they let you keep it that way... here's what i can tell you...
-military regs pretty much just wants it off the collar.
-bangs are allowable, but probably not in boot.
-actually, nothing is allowable in boot..
and that's pretty much it...
just remember,
-boot camp is going to suck.
-"A" school is going to suck... (though not as bad as boot)
-the boat is also going to suck (not as bad as the USS Kitty Hawk)
-the navy in general, is probably going to suck... (this however, depends on your command, and how much you can keep your head up)
just know that it will always just keep getting better as time goes on...
and your hair... it'll grow back eventually...
