Do you think so? For many people they only come to faith having looked everywhere else and then discovered truth in Christ. No Christian should be afraid to try and understand what other believe in for there is only one true and living God and we have been given the gift of being able to think, articulate and reason. Maybe the questioner would like to define 'delusion' - I think you might find the decisive factor in deciding what is or is not a 'delusion' is evidence.
My concern for 'Dashes' above is that he might be 'outside the box' for now but one day he will be 'inside the box' [or coffin if you prefer] and that will bring a whole new sense of reality.

Are YOU a Christian who is looking for the truth outside of your religion? If you are, good for you, because your religion contains no "truth." It requires only "faith," which is not the same thing. Did your Christian faith beget oppression and cause your delusion? Then perhaps you should seriously think about why you're still clinging to your faith, when doing so can mean that you are masochistic by nature. Get out while you can, unyoke yourself, and be truly free to live your life according to the Golden Rule, which is the only morality principle you will ever need.
But of course, you can exercise your free will and go about finding your personal truth in however manner you yourself see fit. That is your right, and don't let anyone tell you any different.

I don't think it makes a difference, after all the truth lives in you so you have already found what you are looking for but their is nothing wrong with worshipping with other christians of other believes as long as you are solid in your own faith.I'm not talking about a church that we attend but a belief thats all ready in our heart. Then it doesn't cause confussion and we bless them with our presence as they bless us with theirs.I did exactly that and realize I had already found it within my own life because Jesus lives in me and His spirit opened my eyes to truth.Another thing I'm never too old to learn something new from others of different faiths,I just have to keep my eyes on Jesus.

Yes it makes a difference. There are 100,000 religions and fractions all claiming to be Christian. God has only one path approved by Him. If you sense your religion is not on that path, go search and find it.

I think it's a great idea. I did that many years ago and feel very fulfilled in my spirituality. There is so much to learn from other societies and religions, your life will be richer for it. Best of luck.

I love it when an atheist thinks a world of atheism is better than the world they live in now.

I like how you generalyzed christians in your question. Heres the funny thing, I searched for the truth outside of my faith, and it led me right back. "The truth Shall Set you Free".God is truly Good.

as monti t has pointed out a christian already has the truth.
the only effective way to stop each day from teaching you something new is to make sure you always wake up already knowing all the answers.
