Yes, the only people excluded from paying Fed Taxes are members of the armed forces serving in a combat zone. If you are civilian Federal Employee in a combat zone...you're still paying.

Of course! And most Federal employees also pay Social Security and Medicare taxes as well. Federal employees who were hired under the old CSRS system prior to 1983 and did not convert to FERS don't pay Social Security or Medicare taxes but are covered by a similar retirement system that they do pay in to.

Of course government employees pay taxes just like everyone else should, And IRS employees must file their tax return on or before April 15th, and full pay the amount they owe. If a government employee owes at time of filing, they may be granted an installment but for 36 months, and most of the time IRS will rather take it out of their paycheck.

Not only do federal government employees pay income tax, they are subject to discipline for failing to do so. They have a higher level of compliance than the rest of the country.
