You may have a food allergy or intolerance that's making it worse, but it could be any of several things. Ideally you should go to an allergy specialist who can test all the likely culprits, and then tell you exactly what to avoid.
However if you don't want to do that, you could try eliminating the most likely suspects one at a time - dairy products are probably the most often implicated in eczema and other such conditions. That means cutting out all milk, cream, cheese, yogurt etc that comes from cows, and reading all ingredients labels for anything containing milk products or lactose - it's not easy but may well help. You'd have to do it for a couple of weeks to see if it makes any difference, and then try re-introducing milk into your diet again to see if the problem comes back.
If milk doesn't affect you, other possibilities are wheat/gluten, citrus fruits, artificial colourings... and many other foods that are less common in causing allergies. Hence why it's quicker and easier to have a skin test.

I've had it all my life. When I was about 6-7 years old I had an allergy scratch test on my back. I would suggest going with something like this to begin with, you can then identify which food item you may be allergic to. Depending on several variables you may outgrow it eventually, I know mine is 70% better since I reached 50. I found grass and weeds aggravate it a lot.

You avoid all the food with high glycemic index (white bread, sodas, sugar or colorant drinks, fast food, oils).
I recommend you eat grains, diet bread, pasta, legums, vegetables, fruits, low-fat meat.
