I saw a movie once when a woman desperately tried to persuade train passengers that the train was about to fall off the edge of a cliff, but the passengers would not believe her. Similar movies have the same theme of people who really know something important trying to persuade cynics what they have to say is important.
'Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we may die!' is the trite answer cynics have given believers for thousands of years, but that's supposing they have the food, they have the drink and they have tomorrow still. I don't see people acting the same way when the danger is actually upon them.
Jesus said we had to be born again which meant we had to ask God's forgiveness in order to be saved from Hell. The way to receive a relationship with God is to be born again and to be saved from Hell.
If there is no Hell, then Jesus' death has no more purpose than anyone else. If there is a Hell, His death is the only means of escape from it.

The heavenly are those that are born again John 3:5.6; 1Pet.1:15.16,23,25; 2:5-9; Rev.3:12; Heb.12:22-24; Rev.20:1-6,12,13; 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53;
The heavenly are with Jesus at his second coming, no Satan 1000 years.
The heavenly for the new heavens, to resurrect the earthly for the new earth.
At 2007 after Christ, the bible has been in the world 396 years, believers are imitaters of the heavenly, all are like unto Christ and the resurrection is done in order as all becomes as new and perfect as before Eden. 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5;

Simple. The Bible says that "Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of Heaven...." presumably due to it's inherently sinful nature. Therefore obedience of God's salvation plan is tantamount to ability to get into Heaven. The Scripture teaches that "Ye MUST be born of the WATER and of the SPIRIT...." In other words, your flesh must be made clean in a SPIRITUAL sense in order to be able to stand in the presence of God since the body itself will become glorified.

I remember having a discussion with a nun on about this oneday when I was working at the mall. She was a very kind and sweet woman who just use to walk thru just to get out, and usually vist the Hallmark store next door, to get cards for people and stuff. I asked her this question and asked her if what I thought was the answer was right or not, because none of my ministers, preachers, or anyone could tell me if it was right or wrong they just looked at me baffled if I did.
It is like the catepillar becoming a butterfly. You start out spiritually not knowing yourself, and at some point you wrap yourself up in a cocoon to protect yourself from all the bad stuff you see and have to go thru. By the way my childhood wasn't exactly happy of peaceful, lol, and than one day something happens and you realize that you can't control people and events no more than you can control the sun and moon in their orbit, and you realize you have to relinquish some sort of control, and believe that there IS something greater and more powerful out there or you will never be happy spiritually. When you allow yourself to do this is when you are reborn into your adult self spiritually.
She just looked at me and told me I was in the wrong line of work and should consider writing poetry or something, because I knew myself more than even she knew herself, but her eyes gave me the answer I had been seeking for years. It just took patience and a willingness to go out there and speak to a stranger for me to finally find it.

Well being born again means to confess our sin to God, turn away from it, and ask Jesus to come into our lives and hearts.
The basic idea is contained not only in John Chapter 3 but can be found implied in many scriptures, including Romans 10:8-10
" But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
It is not so much a matter of just saying a prayer, it is a matter of deciding to turn away from a lifestyle of sin and turn to Jesus and allow Him to be in charge of our lives. To invite Him to be our Lord.

So we can shed our old ways, and sins.
Repent from them, and leave them behind
start life anew, and be " born again ".
You're like a baby in the Word.
You grow with learning Gods Word. Amen

Spiritually, it's similar to taking a bath. God is pure and holy and perfect, and can have nothing to do with sin what-so-ever. That's where the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ comes in. He took all of our sin on his body, and God punished him for our sake so that we wouldn't have to be punished and could be forgiven. When we repent of ours sins and turn from them it says in the bible that Jesus will wash you as white as snow. Forgiveness is sort of like taking a spiritual bath, washing away the dirt and grime of life so that we may stand clean in front of our Father in Heaven. Not only that but washing away the dirt and grime of life helps you to be healthy mentally physically and spiritually.

Because when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit, their spirits died. Ever since a decaying physical body and dead spiritual corpse has been passed down through the generations.
It is only when the Spirit regenerates a person's spirit to life can he or she repent and place their trust in Christ. Just as a dead man cannot go to the hospital to get well, a dead spirit cannot go to God for reconciliation.
