I use 0.02% Ipratropion Bromide along with Xopenex in an inhaler twice a day, when it's bad, three times a day.
In between the Provental and then the Combivent, along with the Symbicort.

When I was very young (3-7) I had really bad asthma, I used a nebulizer every day. I've been on flovent for many years (I'm now 19) and I don't even need to take it everyday anymore, just when I start to get sick. Of course, flovent may or may not work for you, so your best bet is just to work with your doctor. If you feel like your current doctor is not being much help, then switch, because it is so important to have your asthma under control. Good luck!

What works well for one person may not work well for another. You need to see an allergist who will know the many different medications available. I take asthmanex, foradil, singulair and spiriva. Generally these will keep my asthma quiet!
