You do not need to read the Bible . Actually ,unless you read the 60 or so different versions, you will never know which one is correct. So many things have happened since the Bible was written, it is not needed anymore. If you believe in God,you don't need the Bible.

The Bible is really hard to understand. Saint Peter himself is a witness to that.
2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
People who hadn't known or heard the Bible are judged in a different way.
Romans 2:14
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
They will be judged according to the law that was written by God in their hearts. Because even if you hadnt heard or read that it is evil to kill you know in your heart that is is not right to kill.
Romans 2:15
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

well i believe if they dont know about the bible, they are not at fault for what they are doing wrong since they are like perhaps a child and dont know any better. Reading the bible draws us closer to Christ, helps us understand what is right from wrong, and helps us become closer with him!

If Jesus is your Lord, then why is it so difficult for you to read the book that tells you more about Him and what He's done?
People do not go to Hell because they haven't read the Bible. People go to Hell because they have broken God's laws (ever lied? ever stolen? ever hated? ever lusted?) and have not been regenerated by God's Spirit, understood the depth of their depravity and evil, and repented and put their trust in Christ to save them at the judgment.
Cry out to God in repentance and ask Him to change your heart of stone for a heart of flesh. Ask Him for wisdom and understanding that you may read the Bible well.

read the bible from front to back. don't ask what it means just take it for it's contextual value.
by the end, i would be surprised if you believed a single thing in the bible, including jesus is lord.
but first you'll have to get over your inability to read it.

Satan likes you. He wants to eat you for lunch. Your faith is needing to be strengthened. Consider Romans 10 - "Faith comes by hearing." Also, consider Ephesians 6 - the armor of God. It only comes from the Spirit and the word of God.
