What ever be belief and tradition we must realise that human society originate from the common parent and as such brothers and sisters.
It is for identification grouped under different regeon ,religion, but basic formation is common.
Human being the sublime creation of GOD
inhabiting the earth performing their duties only to get the full satisfaction of the GOD for re entering in the Heaven to be along with him .
For what we are distroying earth and ourselves?
Shall we strive to make this earth a heavenly abode of GOD ?
Religion is all along with man from the origin.
But we must realize the truth behined it.
We are fast moving to such a realisation.

Why? Have you ever met, or been outside your pond. The world lives without caste. Caste has nothing with religion. Hindu religion itself predates caste system (as it exists today). You have no grounds in supporting Caste basis. It must be abandoned, it is illegal too. Religion is not the practice, or the stories. It is the philosophy and principles that matter. Fot your information Pongal has no religious significance, it is the celebration of new harvest. Similarly Onam in kerala is non religious not sectarianism destival. I think you need to get out more.

Seems like India cannot really move forward in development without ridding itself of the caste system. Dalits and others need to be able to contribute as much as possible to the economy, regardless of their position in society. How would that alone destroy Hinduism? It's more of a cultural artifact anyway.

"God without religion impossible."
I do not agree. I believe it is definitely possible to have God without religion. Now, religions without God, not so much. But God is not confined in religion. God is not in a temple, or church, God is within each person.

"Can anybody think of Christmas festival without Christian religion?"
Uh, yes.... Christmas is a pagan holiday. Christians like to try to take credit for it, but it started pagan, and in an attempt to brand everything with their name (as Christianity so often does) it tried to make it a religious holiday.

And I don't think it is impossible to create a society without religion, but I think it is improbable. When you have any group of people, or even individuals, they look for something to turn to spiritually, religiously, etc. So something new will be created or something old will be brought back. I don't think it would wipe out a civilisation by any means, I think it just wouldn't happen because people would create a new religion if you built the society without it.

Out of curiosity, what is your background?

Why do you need caste or religion? Why should everyone not be equal with the same opportunities? Why do you need to be subservient to mythical sky pixies as well as other humans?
