You can't see God in physical form in this world. He is The Hidden and The Apparent. You can feel His presence by looking at His creatures.

Well some would say you are not looking in the right place. Others will spam you with bible versus.
The thing is, if you want to find him, chances are you will. If you don't then don't worry about it. At least till judgment - kidding - relax, for now, sorry didn't mean that, be yourself, until there is not time left, dam did it again.
Go forth and multiply, try that!

God is not hiding. God is waiting for you to acknowledge Him.
Seek Him with all of your heart and you will find Him.

God is available to us anytime we want Him. If you really think that you want to know if there is a God why don't you pray like this "God, I don't know if you exist but if you do I want to know you. Let me know who you are and let me have a relationship with you." If you really mean it He'll let you know that He is real.
Read the book of John in the Bible. This is the simplest way to know what God is about.

I think He does like to play hide and seek :-)
It is, afterall, one of OUR favorite games -- as parents -- that WE play with OUR children.
The Psalmist felt the same way we do sometimes about this (and this verse is just one of several examples throughout the Psalms):
Psalms 13:1 -- How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
He wants us to SEEK Him.
Psalms 105:4 -- Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
He wants us to seek Him DILIGENTLY...
Proverbs 7:15 -- Therefore came I forth to meet thee, DILIGENTLY to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
...and sometimes even with fasting.
Daniel 9:3 -- And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, WITH FASTING, and sackcloth, and ashes:
And in an humble way.
2 Chronicles 7:14 -- If my people, which are called by my name, shall HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, and SEEK MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Psalms 27:8 -- When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, THY FACE, LORD, WILL I SEEK.

Stephen Falken: Did you ever play tic-tac-toe?
Jennifer: Yeah, of course.
Stephen Falken: But you don't anymore.
Jennifer: No.
Stephen Falken: Why?
Jennifer: Because it's a boring game. It's always a tie.
Stephen Falken: Exactly. There's no way to win. The game itself is pointless!
