If there's mutual interest, there's nothing wrong with it. You're both consenting adults. Relationships come in all types...as long as both people love and respect each other, then what's the big deal?
The only time age is "suspect" in relationships is when people are young. But an 8-year age difference isn't a big deal. When the women is 60, the guy is 52...not that big a deal. Plus, women have longer life expectancies by 6 or 7 years, so they'll both croak at the same time!

It's not 'wrong' at all -it's just extemely unlikely that such an age-difference will result in 'satiisfaction'. An integral part of partnership is a commonality of mutual experience and life-stage growth. Chances are; you cannot understand her fatigue after the end of the day. She can't understand your optimism -it reminds her of all those 'boys' she dated in high school.... great lads, but not at all of her own ilk or intersts, when boiled down? Love freely, but be prepared to fail, and be a good sport about it :)

If your 18 it's all good. I'm 21 and my brother is 28, his gf is 22 and I love her. She does nothing but help him in every aspect of his life and he's made a lot of great changes. Of course it depends on both ppl and the maturity and where they are in life. But wrong, no. Sometimes some ppl just mature faster or slower. It took me until now to do a lot of growing up, and my brother until he was 28!

It really depends on the people involved, for example, I would never like the idea to fall for someone who is younger than me. But, if you guys are ok with it, then there is nothing wrong with that!

Why would it be wrong? You are both adults.I think that it is possible that both of you could be going through different stages in life but as long as you've found the happy medium, why not!!!!

Nah that's ok, I know 2 people dating girls that are about that much older.
And it's also extrmely common for that to happen if the genders are switched.
