We aren't to change "tradition"? It was tradition for women to be sold into marriage. It was tradition for men to have many wives. It was tradition for different races and ethnicities to be forbidden to marry. We've already done so much changing of "tradition" why should we stop now? Obviously just because something is "tradition" doesn't mean it is automatically a "good" thing that should be acceptable to a civilized society. Marriage is the joining of people who love each other and want to live their lives together and care for each other. Plumbing shouldn't be an issue at all. Apparently I disagree with the Archbishop, and I'm proud of that.
