I didn't know they were either. I'm always barefoot, and the only people who really point and laugh are teenage kids in groups, but they do that to anyone looking different in any way, they'd point and call things like 'light house' and 'are you on fire' when I had bright red hair, too.

Are they? You must have a strange sense of humour. I only ever wear shoes if I am going outside the house and everyone takes their shoes off when they come inside. It leaves the mud and dirt in the garden. I think a lot of shoes people wear are comical but see nothing to laugh at with bare feet. We all have them you know. (Except Douglas Bader)

Feet used to have more of a role in comedy once over. They were once the life and sole of stand up routine!!!!:)

When l go out in public l always wear shoes.At home l am bare-footed.l feel to go bare -footed in public is like walking around nude.
