Our teeth did not evolve as much as they should have. I'm referring to jaws, actually.

As we evolved and our faces became flatter, without an elongated jaw and nose, the number of teeth has never decreased. In other words, there are too many teeth in our mouths.

Those back wisdom teeth need, in most cases, to be pulled because sometimes they grow in on weird angles, or never actually get through enough skin.

What they become are bacteria traps. They decay easily because of that and also become abscessed easily from an infection.

It prevents problems later on of tooth compaction, a disfigured tooth set, pain of tooth compression (crowding) and it permits room in the jaw for the spreading out of the teeth.

As far as I know, there aren't any benefits to having them out unless they are causing you problems. If they're causing prob's, you are better off without them. If they're not, don't worry about them. I had mine out when I was about 21, because they kept breaking through the gum and then going back in. I wouldn't have had them out if they'd just come through normally though.

You dont bite the inside of your damn mouth anymore....and it gives your other teeth room to spread out instead of being crowded which is not comfy at all
