You are probably right that the anti-biotics did in fact cause your yeast infection. This often happens. whether or not you take the last one is up to you. If you think it wil help, take it, if you feel that the strep is cured don't. Then you gotta work on clearing up your other problem asap.

Yeah, so it's probable that the Candida (yeast infection) was caused by the antibiotics changing the normal flora (bacteria) that lives down there. This would make it more susceptible for an overgrowth of Candida (the yeast infection). Just the same, I would finish up the series of antibiotics for the strep to reduce the chance of the strep coming back or having increased resistance to antibiotics in the future.

Take the antibiotics AND get the yeast infection treated seperately. ALWAYS finish your whole course of antibiotics! Otherwise any little bugs that survive will be stronger and resistant to that antibiotic!
Yeast infections are NOT cured by antibiotics, but some change the conditions in the body allowing yeast to flourish. So any suggestions to not take the antibiotic because "they are supposed to cure infection, not cause them" are misguided. The antibiotic is to cure strep, not yeast. The strep can kill if allowed to flourish unchecked. Take the pill!!!!

Take the full course of antibiotics. If you don't take the full course, some of the bacteria will become resistant to the antibiotics. This is how superstrains of multi drug resistant antibiotics develop, so take the full freakin course!
Okay, then go to the pharmacy and get a cream for the thrush. Be nice to the pharmacist, because they are likely to yell 'was that for vaginal or oral thrush?' over the counter if you are rude. Think about it? Can you afford to be rude to a pharmacist?
Go home and use the treatment they give you. Your thrush will go away.

take it. You should always finish off the antibiotics (this is how bacteria becomes 'immune'.. if you dont finish them and some have survived.. they multiply .. so u have lots that are immune!!)
It wouldnt matter much anyway now. Just take the last one, and take the yeast infection medication. Should be right in a couple of days!

well when you take antibiotics you are killing all the bad bacteria, and since yeast is usually good bacteria and the med is killing the bad then the yeast is the only thing there so you may need something for a yeast infection also when you also take antibiotics.
hope i was of some help

take the last antibiotic. Call your doctor and tell them you got a yeast infection from the antibiotic and you want the prescription pill for it.

I would take the strep throat antibiotic, since that is more painful and unbearable than a yeast infection.

Finish your course of antibiotics...it was given to you for a reason.
For healing, eat probiotic foods like yogurt that will help restore your body's chemical balance.
