Thinking you're pathetic is your first problem. You have to be confident, and don't hesitate when you speak. Guys think there is some magic come-on line they can use, but being a good listener and challenging her in conversation is the best way to warm a girl up to you. Then ask her out on a date casually, the worst thing she can say is no. And if she does, oh well, don't get discouraged, there are plenty of fish in the sea. You need to be confident, but not cocky.

Well first stop thinking you pathetic. If you think your pathetic what is she gonna think? Just have some confidence in yourself. The fear of rejection is one of the hardest things to overcome. So don't think just do it. And think of it this way if she does say no what happens? Do you get swallowed up by the Earth? No. Does life end? No. There will be other girls and all that, but if you never ask you can never find out.

I used to have the same problem, just talk to her and then ask her what shes doing that weekend and if she has no plans ask her to the movies or take her somewhere were you can get to know her

Just ask her if she wants to hang out, like a date.
Dont push it because I hate when guys think they can ask girls out (to be gf bf) when they dont even know eachother.
