I would have to agree with you based not only on the number of different versions of the bible but the obvious fact that they were all scribed by humans. We are a very controlling species as nature has already proven. Jesus, from what I've read from a number of sources was just a man with a thirst for knowledge, understanding and practiced what he tried to share with others. There is a theory that the number of years he seemed to have "disappeared" during his upbringing he travelled the world and studied with many cultures & faiths, the Druids of old being one of those (before they split factions and became the Wessex Priests). Thank you for bringing your question. It's helped a great deal in my own querries. Thought I was one of the rare few who saw Jesus as a human being rather than the icon of so many different and argumentative religions.

No. The followers of His simply wrote that they saw Him after He had been crucified, killed and buried. They were so amazed that it changed their lives.
You've asked did the Jews and Romans work together to create a falsehood - is not what the historians and archaeologists have discovered, any more than the Nazi Germans could have been said to have worked with the Slavs. The Romans occupied the Israel land at the time.
The Lord Jesus prophesied that the Jewish temple would be destroyed and the people of Israel scattered throughout the world. He also prophesied He would only return once the Jews had returned to the land and then accepted Him as their saviour. The first part of His prophecy has been fulfilled.
He was no pagan as He did not preach about world myths and beings that don't exist but about a kingdom which is from Heaven, which anyone who followed Him would have a share in.
He was claimed to be Divine, because who else can rise from the dead and foretell the future except God?

Points not addressed by other answers:
"part buddhist" - no, buddha is not mentioned, nor are the religious practices peculiar to buddhism practiced or recommended by Jesus. On the other hand, several are forbidden (for example, repetitious word usage in prayer).
"part pagan" - ditto
"closer to buddha than the person christianity makes us believe he is"
Christianity does not "make me believe" anything about Jesus. I read the scripture for myself, study the scripture for myself, evaluate analyses of scriptures for myself, and arrive at conclusions based on these things for myself. I highly recommend that you do likewise, at least in part, and read the New Testament carefully and fully.
"did the jewish state and the roman state create a falsehood to hide a truth they knew would rob them of theyre so important power"
Yes. It is recorded (in scripture) that certain Jews and Romans propagated the story that Jesus was not resurrected, but rather that his body was stolen by his disciples and hidden. Read verse Mat 28:11 and forward on the link below.

Note that this does not implicate the Jewish "state" of the time (a subject / puppet kingdom of Rome), but rather only certain members of the priesthood.

you're assuming that that prosperous individual is someway evil or no longer worth by fact they have money. no longer something must be greater from the reality. What if the got here by potential of their wealth definitely? Or have been left something as an inheritance? Are they undesirable by fact they stay properly? they could be giving money month-to-month to a charity and no one might ever be attentive to. They do it by fact it feels proper, and that they sense sturdy doing it. confident, the church homes have money - various it. it quite is been that way continually, by fact interior the early days, with the intention to finance the development of church homes and different projects - like the crusades, it develop into placed to those that had some money, that they've been someway going to purchase their way into heaven in the event that they surpassed it over. people went for it. In those situations, they had no longer the rest to have self assurance and no one to tell them in yet in a various way. Granted, presently there are some television preachers, that are strictly on air in seek of commerce. they have self assurance that charity starts off at abode...and that we could continually all provide them money so as that they are in a position to construct a bigger abode, greater vehicles, extreme-high quality holidays, etc. they're nevertheless Christian...they at the instant are not honest, sort or charitable, yet they are in a position to nevertheless be Christian. till people provide up feeling desperate and strengthen their very own relationship with their God - whomever they have self assurance her or him to be, and loose themselves from the could purchase their way in, this style of outrage will proceed.

As good an interpretation as any. We do not need religion to know ethical and humane behaviour. The message of jeshua was to feed the starving, help to heal the sick and appeal for justice for the poor and oppressed. A message which has been hijacked and perverted by the rich and powerful across the intervening centuries.
Humanity trumps divinity!
To 'KeithinSD'-you are a sick and twisted individual..read your posts and the perverted filth you put up in chatrooms..you need professional help!..care in the community is not working for you obviously!

No.
If people could find the truth without anything but themselves, then why did Christ say,
..."I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
(john 14:6)
and why then did He die on the cross for our sins, so that by faith in Him, we will have eternal life with God in heaven?
Christ told us His way, the only path to salvation and that is in Him, by faith. Christianity, by definition, is belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. (founded on the life and teachings of Jesus.)
Take Care and God Bless.

Right from the time of Pope Constantine, the church founders were simply trying to create a unified version of Christs teachings and instead, created a dictatorship.

Although some may misunderstand some of his words and think its from another religion, its not from another religion. What Jesus spoke was, is, and will be still truth. It did not derive from man but from God.

Yes I totally agree with you. And those others on here telling you
that you should read the bible, haven't read enough. If just they knew the origins of their bible. There's a lot of stuff left out of it, and a lot more which pre-dated it. They should study the real roots of their own religion before criticising those of us who have.
