Does it appear to you that the Republicans seem to accept the inevitability of their coming defeat? They no longer even attempt to respond to any questions about their failed administration, being content to answer…”oh you must be one of those liberals”. They really ought to get a better line. Reading goat droppings or worse parroting heir talking points from the blurbs put out by the RNC only show their desperation to find anything at all that would justify what they inflicted on this once great .nation.
If you are not wealthy, let’s face it you are not going to die of old age. Their answer…well your parents should have been more responsible and you should not have been born in the first place. They stand at the gates protecting us all from the terrible threat of socialized medicine, whatever that means. They claim we are winning in Iraq…winning what over who and for who? Terrorists of course, all couple of hundred operatives who are in a country that now has three independently operating armies of over a hundred thousand men each. Finally they claim to be the arty of fiscal responsibility saving us from those big spending Democrats, while running up trillion dollar debts.
Is it any wonder they are desperate?

To all the pathetic Republican ideologs. What is there about approval ratings in the low thirties and mid twenties that you do not understand?

Blah blah blah. Couldn't disagree more. Desperation is coming more from the DNC! Look at the wonderful slide Hill is getting these days! Wonderful! I do agree that Bush has spent far too much and is more like a Democrat in Republican guise when it comes to spending, and I am also unhappy with his immigration ideas, but I think the next round of Republican canidates offer some relief and some hope. I like Ron Paul as a constitutionalist and he would probably satisfy some of the issues you bring up here, except your desperate cry for socialized anything. Why should I have to pay for your medical bills?

So far, the only failures I know of are coming from the Democrats, in both houses of Congress. This bunch of Democrats elected in 2006, can't even stop a lame duck President. Never in history has Congress been able to say that. Of course, this Congress has a lower approval rating than President Bush.
The only thing that scares this Republican is that some people apparently did not get enough of a Clinton the first time, and are willing to give a Clinton another shot at destroying this country. Make no mistake about it, if elected Hillary Clinton will hurt this country.
This is not a rant against Hillary, because I have no more faith in John Edwards, or Barrack Obama, because all three have made it clear if elected, higher taxes will be in our future. Then things get worst for all wage earners from that point. People have gooten so fired up against Republicans thanks to a liberal media, that they are not hearing what Democrats want to do to each of us.
Finally, the current Democratic congress has done more to hurt the standing of this country in the world, than the RNC could have done, if it had tried.

Are you on crack? The desperation is coming from the DNC- there already anointed next President Hitlerly is crashing and burning!!!!! She has to dig up stuff about her opponent from KINDERGARTEN to try and get some traction.

It's pathetic and a spectacular implosion all at the same time.

I see no desparation on either side. This election is wide open, despite what the media wants to say. Bush and his administration are leaving office in one year, so who cares about them now. What we Americans need is to elect someone who will for once stand for what is right, and base their decisions based upon common sense. Lastly, we need someone who, once they are elected, put asside all party afiliations and represent the American people as a whole.

I couldn't agree more! Maybe they have finally figured out why Bush started this war, and how the oil barons, Halliburton, Blackwater, KBR, and other contractors have made a killing. Those people worship at the alter of St Greed! It isn't just the money we have expended...it's the lives of our troops that matters most. Maybe they are beginning to see it.
ADD: Notice, they never discuss issues...they just attack Democrats.
