Just curious about what is ED Resident doing in a hospital. I have came across internet blog mentioned about ED Resident. It seems like a job admitting patient or whatever it is....??
What is the requirement to be one?

An ED Resident is an emergency department physician who is in his or her 2-3rd year of postgraduate training. They have to answer to a senior physician called an attending physician. The requirement to be a resident is to graduate from medical school, obviously.

yeh i think it is jsut a emergency dept. resident. I suppose its just a doc resident. So goes around diagnosing i suppose
