declares your position - Against God or For God?

Good words" and "evil words" have exactly the same effect. Either extreme entices a falling for the forbidden things of glory. Through knowledge of good, your ego find it way through religion, the arts and sciences. The darker way to power is through the politics of lying, cheating, deception and rhetoric. If you are drawn away from faith to the mere knowledge of good or knowledge of evil, it is only because those words have found their mark in some form of self-serving ego-need for power, glory, and recognition-the same weakness that caused Adam to lose paradise for us.
The desire to be like God

Now, where do you stand ?
What say you all?

I tried being the "God" of my life and made it such a mess... No, now I get out of God's way and let him do what he does best. Make straight my path.

for all we know god is mythology. God cannot be proven to have existed. The bible is a book of oral tells just like the Iliad and the Odyssey. Some even say that Homer wasnt real. He was just a mythical person. Its all open for interpretation. God is there for ppl that need something to believe in and that will help them get through the day. Churches are colts and religion should be kept out of the government and schools. Its gotten to the point where ppl are paying to go to church services in super domes. I mean come one. Paying for church....enough said

In order to find GOD we need to first qualify ourselves otherwise we will always be under such illusions.

God is not so cheap that we go to the market and buy. By neglecting the existence you accept that God exists.

God is never manifested to the foolish and evil minded people as He makes sure that they go down the path of destruction and it's all based on personal desires.

GOD does not need us , rather we need His mercy to get away from this material attachments.

i'm neither for or against any gods as i do not believe in invisible super beings. nor do i aspire to be a god. my ego just isn't that big. i can imagine being a minuscule particle of a vast gestalt that could be "God" but i have no way of knowing if such a concept is factual. and instead of trying to discern "good from evil" morality i seek a pragmatic discernment of "healing from harmful".

What? You really do need to get back on the medication.

God does not exist - no one here wants to be god (except you) - because there is no god, all you say is nonsense.

Ranting and raving as a tool to subjugate others went out in the 17th C although your sister religion (Islam) still uses it However its calender is still in the 14C

I say I'm an Atheist... and no body could change any of my opinions of an invisible guy... It how I feel and stuff and nobody shoudl try to change it. But I wish there was a god. That would be kool. But science is (in my opinion) is the true meaning of crap... well most of it.

I say I have no need to be god & I have no need for a worn out logic that is known as god!!! All these so called miricles that were "only" in biblical times just make me tired! God is a no-show!

I neither believe in a god, nor feel the need to act as one. I am content being an armrest for the tired (because I'm so short, that is...)

Fallacy: false dilemma

The path to enlightenment is not restricted through Jesus. Each person can chart his or her own path through whatever religion works for that individual, or lack of religion.
