ok, im 14 and a freshman in high school, and this year ALL OF A SUDDEN, it seems like everyone has boyfriend. me? NO. this may sound pathetic, but i've never been asked out, never had a boyfriend, and never been kissed. i dont think im hideously ugly, and im nice, funny, and smart. guys flirt with me...but thats all that happens.
its not like i only want a boyfriend because everyone else has one....its just i want to feel loved, and be held, and kissed. has anyone else felt this way? or am i alone?
and the WORST part is, that guys my age or in my school just dont seem that into me. BUT, when i go out, i get hit on my guys at least 4-5 years older than me. but i dont reciprocate those feelings, because thats kinda creepy lol.
and i know you guys will say "focus on school" and i am, i have straight A's....
i just feel like i'll never meet someone whom i can just talk to about anything, or just hold, you know?
am i completely pathetic for feeling this way?

You will meet someone made for you eventually.
Remember that you're still young and that right now your main focus is school and guys probably realize that during school.. Right now you should just hang out with friends, get to know some guys, and go from there... socializing with boys is the first step and then maybe eventually you'll start dating them.
Just remember you're not the only one who has never been on a date or kissed, there are some people who don't even date until they're in college.

ok first off - i'm 22 and cant even spell "reciprocate" without looking in the dictionary lol so you definatly are keeping up with school.
and no its not bad for feeling that way, i was the same way - cant force a relationship - it has to work out on its own. So - when you do meet someone that likes you as a girlfriend you will know. When someone flirts with you, flirt back! dont get all shy on them. Be yourself, dont try to be someone your not because you want a boyfriend. A real boyfriend will like you for you, not who you want to be.

ok 1 ur 14 give it 2 years and u'll really hit the dating thing. when u meet a guy u like go for it but dont try to date just anyone cuz thats the best way to get the worst guy and belive me i've dated enough jerks to know that u HAVE to know them before you date them that way u'll know if u 2 get along, dates help with that. i wouldn't be worried about the whole age thing too much 4-5 years isn't that much lmao i'm 18 this guy i know for a fact is 34 asked me out now that was creepy. but i'd just give it time u'll meet someone special try not to just look at the surface lol i had lots of probs with guys i tended to date jocks and all that well i'm dating a farmer now and i gotta say he's the best guy i've ever dated, opens doors the whole shebang , he's not hot but i'd rather be with him then someone who was hot who treated me like i was replaceable.

oh my god i felt exactly the same way as you when i was a freshman.. (not long ago). i was 14 and never been kissed and everyone around me was all coupled up. in my art class when i told someone (whispered) that i've never been kissed everyone stopped talking (at my table) and were all like "what?"..like they couldn't believe.
btw-i'm a senior and i still don't have a bf.

im in 8th grade, and i can relate pretty well...i never got kissed, and even when i had a gf she just screwed me over...well, anyway, no, youre not pathetic, just lonely. dont worry, you'll find someone! maybe you can flirt back or something? good luck!

find the person you like most and once you guys are really close just ask them out but dont be to anxious it's no big deal if you get turned down
