Go to a free clinic. Strep throat can be harmful is left untreated for too long. While it technically can clear up on its own, it will take a long time, you'll need a whole lot of rest and a proper diet, and you may develop complications. This is assuming you have bacterial strep throat.
If you have viral strep throat, it will clear up on its own without antibiotics. If it's bacterial, the absolute best thing to do is get medication before the problem gets worse.

a sore throat doesn't necessarily mean strep throat....if you have not had your throat cultured, you cannot know if it is strep. However, strep is a dangerous bacterium, it can spread to the heart and lungs and be fatal if not treated, so I suggest that you get some medical help. There are free clinics, and if there is a county hospital in your county, then they must treat you regardless of your ability to pay for they recieve state funding to do so. See a doctor, be tested to be sure it is strep, and get treatment.

You need to see a docter soon. If it is strep you need attention now. Strep is very dangerous and taking antibotics doesnt always get rid of it my daughter got it last year took a round of antibotics and the docter re checked her and said she just needed to recover in 3 weeks she was unable to walk and it took another month for the docters to realize the strep set up infection in my childs brain and heart 6 months later after a period of thinking i was gonna loose her she was able to walk but not straight and remember and start to recover she wasnt a fragile little girl she weighed 120 lbs and is 12 and is taller than me she was in good health until oneday she got strep now she is 13 and she still can not run and play alot of the things the other kids play and she still forgets sometimes but she is alive dont play with your health or you could be playing with your life.
