I don't dream, exceptionally rarely or if I do I have no memory of them whatsoever.

To sleep perchance to dream....

I have the most wonderful dreams when I do have them, or at least when I remember them. I am fascinated by the way the mind unwinds at night and separate thoughts from the day collide to make stories that range from absurd to revealing.

In my dreams I have first understood many things about calculus, the way electrons behave in their P and S orbital’s and deeper understanding of the periodic chart. In dream I have had my fears laid bare. In dream I have found hope and inspiration. In dream I have found stories worth writing and visions worth painting. In dream I have even found the comfort of distant friends.

The second part of your question is a bit more difficult to answer. Inspiration comes in many forms. I suppose my most important muse takes the form of a lover, a fantasy built from what I have known of love combined with my own needs and desires.

Ideas come and go in my dreams so quickly that I have trouble disseminating effectively and am completely unable to read further into them than how they appear - as a series of jumbled, but extremely vivid, snapshots that seem to have some relevance to my real life - but that relevance is frustratingly just beyond my ability to recognize it. This is occasionally mixed in with terrible memories from my past that sometimes leave me wide awake and shivering, not quite remembering why I woke up but terrified of going back to sleep for the fear that I will relive it once again
I am afraid I have not yet met my muse, perhaps when I do she will bring some order to my stream of consciousness

My muse does have a form, and sometimes she does come to me, in my dreams.

Peace to you.

Dreams come that are telling, where they tell me of upcoming events, they tell me of things I do not see in the mundane, they allow me to visit others or call others to visit me. Sometimes they are just a way to rid myself of the trash from the day.

The muse shows me things I am to create, these I take to heart and attempt in the mundane.

Last night I dreamed I had a Honeybee in each ear canal. They were not buzzing and did not sting me. Before I went to sleep, I was awaiting and dreading possble bad news... That news never came... My dreams are a reflection of my day.

I dream about being spiderman, and running into my neighbors' closets to turn invisible. Oh yes, and it SNOWS IN TEXAS. *le gasp*

Yes, that was a real dream that I had...no, I don't know what's in the water, but it sure makes for an interesting night.

I dream about all of my worries and the consequences so when I wake up I have incentive to take care of things and get them done.
