Need a job for winter break where should I look?

Starting today I need to get a job for the winter break. My break is especially long from today, the 17, to Feb 5 because I have transferred schools and cannot go during the winter term. Any ideas of places or types of jobs that would be hiring now??

Try checking Craigslist for contract and temporary positions... lots of running money to be made there.
Start filling out applications everywhere. Grocery stores are good because they run 3 shifts and pay well.
