Can you watch videos other than DVD's using PowerDVD? Such as videos you've saved on your computer?

If so, what format do they have to be in? I'd like to be able to make screen caps from other videos.

In the "OPEN" menu you should have option to play a specific DVD drive, or "Open DVD files on hard drive" or "Open media files on hard drive" Use the last of these for AVI and MPG types.
If you have a DVD rip with the IFO and VOB files, use "Open DVD files . . ."

YA, you can watch a veriety of formats on power dvd .... just drag you file to the power dvd player and watch =D
