I have a ton of old pictures that I want to put on a disc (so I can get them on the computer) but I dont have a scanner. My sister told me I can take them to walmart and use a machine to do it? Is this true? If so how much does it usually cost and how long? Thanks!

It will cost you much less to buy the scanner and do it yourself. Plus you can fiddle with the images and make them just the way you want them.

I second the notion of buying a flatbed scanner and doing them at home. At my lab (not WallyWorld) scans are .70 each, and this time of year we don't have time to do oodles (or tons) of them anyway. I don't have a self-service kiosk for that specific thing.

Dunnoo how much it costs but it is true and it should be located near the film developing counter...in the future you should buy a digital camera...they are so easy.
