Should I dye my hair black? (Pic included)?

Since I have light skin and grey eyes, I think my face would look more attractive if I dyed my hair black. So should I dye it or leave it? http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2001840375324225979

Leave it. I dye my hair black, and I love it, but I have much darker features than you. I have naturally dark brown hair and tan skin so I am able to pull off the black easily. People often ask if it's my natural color because it looks so believable. Since you have such fair skin and lighter features, the black will be way too harsh. I think your blonde hair looks good now. If you are getting bored with the color, consider addings some streaks of copper or red...


Also, something you must always keep in mind regarding dying your hair black: remember the saying, "once you go black, you can never go back". Black is by far the hardest color to get out of your hair. So that one day when you DO decide you no longer want black, you are either going to have to: A.) wait for it to grow out (& of course have horrible & tacky grown out roots) -- B.) bleach your entire head and risk frying all of your hair and experiencing breakage and fall out

I have very long, black hair and when I go into salons and ask about getting the black out, they always look stressed and give me a very hopeless look. I've been told that if i attempt to get the black dye from my hair, I will end up losing a lot of my hair


in the long run, its not worth it, unless you REALLY want black & plan on keeping it for a LONG time. If you really want to do dark, do a DARK, DARK brown. If you get a deep chocolate brown, it can almost look black! Goodluck!

well, first off, you would look WAAAAAY paler if you dyed your hair black. You would look sort of (if you styled yourself to go along w/ this ofcourse) like the regal undead w/ your coloring. . . which is kinda cool, i suppose.
If that's what you're going for then dye it.
Also, don't worry too much about dying your hair. I do it all the time. . . mostly on impulses, too. If you hate it, just remember hair isn't really permanent, and you could always get a weave like the girls on America's Next Top Model.

you have very fair skin and pretty eyes...taking it dark will definitely make you look more Mysterious. But black would look too dark for your skin tone. I would suggest a chestnut brown with a nice glosser on top so it's nice and shiny. Then lightly line your eyes with a darker pencil and keep the lips a light natural pink. It will look very nice...but dont go past a medium to chestnut brown. It will still pull off the look you're trying to go for. Good luck!

You should definitely try it. Especially while your young and don't have restrictions on your appearance by a workplace. Plus, if the black hair doesn't look then just buy some hair dye remover, they usually work okay.

Black would be too harsh, imo. If you want to go darker, maybe settle for a brown. The dark hair would take the focus away from your pretty eyes and face.

Sure, go for it. I wanted to dye my hair black too, but had to get a dark chocolate brown with caramel highlights. Believe me, if you wanted the style I think your going for, it's noticeable. Go ahead and do it, or don't. Do what you wish.

First of all do what makes you happy. But my thought on it is, you are very beautiful just the way you are. I am getting black under my top layer this next coming weekend. They say black is really hard to get out once you are sick of it. It's taken me a year to think about it. lol.

No, don't dye your hair black. But do get rid of that thing in your nose. You are pretty and the nose thing is a detraction.

You should, because if you hate it, well, hair grows out or can be fixed in a salon. And if you don't dye it, you'll always wonder if it might be a good idea.
