What if people needed their money changed?

Bankers.
(I'm just guessing)
Bankers were magical back then.

And when babies needed changing, they were sometimes accidentally changed into frogs.

The money changers still set up shop, just outside of the temple.

This is where they should have been to start with, Jesus did not upset the stands of those who sold items and changed money outside of the temple, just the ones that were doing business inside the temple itself.

Basically , they were kept to the parking lot or the roadside leading to the temple.

It's probably just a story in order to drive home a theological or political point. The point of it is that he shut down the temple, therefore sacrifices and other rites couldn't happen. It was a mesianic gesture or sorts.

they just went to the quik shop across the street. money changed for customers only. they didn't have coke back then, so everybody bought wine coolers and jesus turned them into real wine.

He didn't. Most religious scholars consider that story to be not in the original scriptures.
