We are down to one wheel cover left. Curbs have not been hit, they just don't seem to stay on. We're wondering if this is a design flaw.

Yes I wondered why some of my customers come in with all there wheel covers missing too? I would get your Nissan dealer to replace all the wheel covers and save you the boxes. Then buy a set of Aftermarket covers to put on the car. I think a call to 1800NISSANCARES Start a consumer complaint would not hurt either. Nissan would like to know they are really interested in how to improve there products.

Yes I have heard others complain: Just go down to Auto zone or Wall-mart and buy a generic set (lot's of types to choose from) of wheel covers that fit the size wheels you have on your car. Should be under $30 for a whole set. My daughter put some of these on her 2000 Camry 5 years ago when she lost 2 of her expensive Toyota covers.. They are still on the wheels after 100,000 miles.

i would agree with scott. everything you have mentioned seems conclusive the fact is you're not torquing to specifications. also, i'm not sure if about in the UK but the pathfinder (terrano) was sold with 4-wheel disc brakes and not rear drums. I could be wrong. I'm not sure on the specs though.
